At Springhead Liberal Club, the committee prides ourselves in bringing the very best of benefits for it's members. In order for a person to enjoy the facilities on offer within the club, they must be a member. Membership is subject to approval by the Management Committee.

This can take form of various types of membership, but in some cases may lead to a reduced amount of facility access.

Full Members are the present members of the Club and such bona fide applicants as  elected. The minimum age is 18 years.

Life Members are those who are appointed by the Club Management Committee for conspicuous service to the club.

Veteran Members are those who reach the age of 65 years having been a full member for a minimum continuous period of 3 years.

Junior Members are the sons or daughters of full, life or veteran members of the club. The minimum age is 12 years, however they may not purchase intoxicating liquors from the bar, nor introduce visitors to the club. The minimum age to enter the club on a concert night is 16 years. Junior membership ceases at the age of 18 years.

Affiliate Members are those members who are affiliate members of the National Union of Liberal Clubs Limited. Such person's are permitted to use the club's facilities, but may not attend annual general meetings, nor nominate members for office or any membership of the management committee.

Social Members are the wives of members or widows of late members.

How do I become a member ?

Membership forms can be obtained from the bar during opening hours, or by clicking the link below. On completion of the form, and the payment of the relevant fee, the form will be submitted to the next Management Committee meeting (held on second Tuesday of each month) for approval. Once approved, your membership card will be sent to you by post.
